The number of confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in Greene County is at 189 as of Friday morning. That’s according to Greene County director of public health Becky Wolf. There have been 41 new cases in the past 14 days, 23 in the past seven days.
The average positivity rate over the past 14 days remains at 6.8 percent. Days to double is at 32.
The number of persons who have recovered is at 106. Forty-eight percent had no pre-existing health condition and 17 percent had no Covid symptoms.
Breakdown for age groups for positive cases is as follows:
- 0-18 years: 13 percent
- 19-39 years: 34 percent
- 40-59 years: 33 percent
- 60-74 years: 17 percent
- 80 and older: 3 percent
Wolf asks the public to help slow the spread of Covid-19 by following the Three Ws:
- Wash your hands
- Watch your distance
- Wear a mask.
The drive-thru flu shot clinic scheduled for Thursday has been rescheduled to Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5 to 7 pm in the Clinics parking lot at Greene County Medical Center.
